son dos ojos de luz y una boca de flor;

English

As arrogant as he looks, his figure is popular.
He was born in the shade of the underworld
and there he will be buried.
His ghetto heart made with bravery and courage
was never afraid that an insult would shame his pride.

He’s a brave man made for times of the past,
sparing and slow when talking, his word is action.
Courage is his law, he’s constant and tenacious,
he never promises what he cannot fulfill.

But in the end there’s something that dominates him,
two bright eyes and a mouth like a flower;
that look at him daring, not letting him think,
because he knows how to love and love is love.
