Miguel Caló

Caló's repertoire that we dance to today are mostly with singers, best of the best including Raúl Berón, Alberto Podestá, Raúl Iriarte... with beautiful melodies and orchestration, it's still very much loved to this day.

Caló was very good at scouting young talent from country side. Many of them lived in the same boarding house, practicing all night till dawn, imagine!
